So um... I published my first original short story on Inkitt. (was originally fanfic but has been rewritten to be original).

I'm kinda nervous/shy sharing it haha so be kind.

Hua Cheng and Xie Lian from TGCF in an AU. They are both moth-human hybrids, loosely based off a crecopia and white silk moth respectively. They are standing side by side, leaning into one another and holding hands. Hua Cheng has his head tipped down to bump his forehead to Xie Lian's, who is looking up and smiling with his eyes closed. They are both in large, vaguely wing patterned cloaks with fur around the necks.

finished! it's not perfect but I'm ready to move on because the mesh fabric is not ... nice to work with and this is about complete enough to satisfy me.
Their cartoon faces are pretty cute imo, I like how simple it looks. Now I have to clean up the fabric at the edges/glue it to finish the hoop.

I tried on a mesh fabric and it's... not as stable as cotton or aida so my lines are wobbly but I'm glad I tried.
