7 days of grafting the Iron Road commenced yesterday

The unusual sight I was greeted to was 158844 "The Northumbrian" having a holiday far from its base depot of Heaton. The Northern Conductor who took it was ecstatic to have worked it too 😂

We rounded off the day by going to Hebden Bridge then Huddersfield to meet up with some friends in a pub before taking the soon to be upgraded Penistone Line (and my word it needs it)

A fantastic day... minus the 150s of course 😆

The majority of 333s still had the excellent original announcements though, will be weird when all the new equipment is installed

Because of storm Floris, @pacerclara.insanity.tube had to stay round for an additional night. That means an additional adventure, right?

We had some fun in West Yorkshire yesterday, starting with an IC225 to Leeds then a run around the Airedale and Wharfedale lines

I've had a lovely few days off at the end of my long weekend

First up, a large group of us went to Crich Tramway Museum. It's an incredible place to be with heritage trams and fun walks around the area!

We had an incredible time as a group! We loved every minute!

Wow oh wow! What an incredible few days it's been at the gathering, both as a visitor and a Volunteer

It's been incredible looking around at the immense amount of exhibits and meeting so many excellent people over the weekend. Alstom, you've done a superb job!

A busy day today assisting in the set up for the Greatest Gathering for the 225 Group. Also lent a quick hand in getting @class507.org.uk's simulator scenarios to be spot on!

I then had time to see some exhibits before the arrival of 390119 and 57307

It was for a move to a different TOC but I was unsuccessful. Still hosting in Purple for now

Half way through my run on 6 shifts now

Yesterday was the last day of Manton diverts whilst engineering work took place for 6 weekends around Market Harborough. Such a lovely little route, especially going over Harringworth Viaduct!

I'll definitely miss views like this 👇

Great to see 158847 and its new interior out and about! Unfortunately I've got my own trains to work so a look around it will have to wait 😅

Myself and @pacerclara.insanity.tube revisited Leven today! What started out as a slightly rainy, misty morning developed into an absolutely beautiful afternoon to visit the seaside town 😁

Later in the evening I returned South to Sheffield. Ahh well, hopefully I'll be back soon 🥲

Glasgow Pride, what an absolute pleasure! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Pride is not just reserved for June, queer people are an everyday occurrence. It's important to keep standing up for everyone's rights, especially when successive Governments are hellbent on rolling back rights

Always remember: Stand up for your rights

For Edinburgh, no accomodation = no trip. No point paying when you've got enough free options and the travel to/from EDB is free too thanks to my passes

I usually stay round with Clara or another one of my many friends in Edinburgh, so never need to pay a hotel bill!
