Kapp when she goes for international duty.

Seems like all the scheduling planing went in to ensuring India got their last 2 group games, semi final and final all in Navi Mumbai to help them out as much as possible. ICC are desperate for them to win it, and Pakistan and Sri Lanka haven't even been an after thought for them.

Lahore looking like it's having lovely weather atm. Could have let Pakistan play there, with the India game in Bangladesh if possible. No way the BCCI would ever let that happen I know, but other options were there if they really wanted it.

Yet the ICC still give the Afghanistan board the same funding as if they were supporting a women's team. They look like they support their actions by doing this. Not to mention the unfair advantage it gives them compared to the likes of Ireland who do things properly.

I thought yesterday's game was fantastic, but that finish today is one of the best I've seen. 2 games into #WPL2025 and it's already living up to expectations. Great stuff.

It will definitely be A. England have gone all in on Bethell in all formats, so it would be odd to drop him after a decent first test. Pope did well enough. It'll be interesting going forward to see how they organise the team when Smith is back. Or is he going to lose out to Pope long term?

I'd guess keep things as they were in the first test. England are definitely going all in on Bethell, so can't see any chance that they'll leave him out. And Pope is Vice captain and did pretty decent with the bat and gloves. Robinson may never get a test which would be a shame.

Agreed. Tunnicliffe looked poor the other day. Maybe it was just nerves, but feel like she needs a good start today to not get bogged down again.

I don't think I enjoy watching cricket from anywhere more than New Zealand. The grounds are all so beautiful. It's definitely a bucket list trip.

Good start to England women's tour of South Africa with a 4 wicket win. Saw Sophie Ecclestone rate it a 6 1/2 out of 10. I thought they were a bit better than that tbh. A couple of misfield, a drooped catch and Bell being a bit expensive, but it was a solid first game after the World Cup exit.
