Iorio only played 9 NHL games in his entire career, but probably he has size. Then we have Desharnais who is an RD with more size, so it feels like we got more questions than a solution.

Yeah, I think our forward group is OK, but defense is really bad. Especially the veterans are very slow and couldn't get puck out of the zone, which was the same problem as we have had for the last few years. So I'm scratching my head and wondering what was the point that we acquired those guys?

I'm hoping this will be the lineup for Friday and Saturday games. I was frustrated to watch our defense for many reasons, but also was mad about the coaching staff, just saying "work harder". I'm sorry, you should use your brain.

I feel Klingberg should be paired with Mukhamadullin and probably Desharnais should replace Dickinson for the next game tomorrow. Dickinson was OK, but considering the workload and pairing among D-men, we should try and find the best options.

Our offense seems to be much better, but closing the game... The same problem still exists.

I didn't see Sharks official account posted the lineup information, so I made it myself for Game 1. Compared to the last year's opening night, only 8 players remain the same, and Ferraro is the only defenseman from the last year's opening night.

It is crazy that he was the best Center for Sharks a couple of seasons ago, but now he is 3C in the Vegas lineup, realizing how thin our depth was.

BTW, Hertl committed two penalties yesterday and fans booed him both times. It is a harsh message to him that fun must not be always for him in San Jose.

I expected Misa and Dickinson to earn at least one game at home, but I don't feel Warsofsky would change the roster other than Goalie.

Yesterday, Ty Dellandrea seemed to be doing really well. Goodrow was also OK. Everyone worked really hard to chase and battle the puck very well. That leaves the question, how can they insert Misa in the lineup?

The positive side is we still have 81 games left for the season.

We were playing really good hockey in the first 58 minutes and then the winning slipped away. Unbelievable.
