I think it's the primary reason I've sat on the lore (and still am for the most part) for years before making any of it public.

There's just so much I'd love to explore, but it doesn't match up well with my current artwork's subject matter and it would just take too long to make into art.

Well it depends on the characters.

Dreamflower and Reverie's story is more like a 2-3 (if 1 is neutral and 10 is the grimmest of grim dark)
Their past is the sad part.

Cerulea and Aurora's story would probably be around a 7-8 territory. But a war story doesn't fit in well with my art 😅

Well, the in-universe reason is that Vampires provide the energy for their familiars and Vampires get energy through physical means...

So sex is both fun and acts like a recharge for Dreamflower and Reverie.

But mostly because it's fun. 😉

The tone of the story is much more dramatic than what I usually put out because I think the adult entertainment side of things should stay light-hearted and happy. 😌
