I'm so deeply ashamed everyday. I love our neighbors - Canada and Mexico - and our former allies in Europe and other countries around the world. It's beyond frightening and now they're just making people disappear with no due process...

it is painfully obvious when AI is being used. Just don't do it! I hate having to mark down for what is clearly copied from AI student websites. Even if you are using something like CHatGPT, it's just stealing from other places and you will get caught.

I have to conduct peer reviews of my fellow students and evaluate their papers. Let me tell you, I completely understand the temptation to use AI to cut corners as an adult learner with a full-time job. But having to grade these, and running them though plagiarism checkers...

It's the first day of running the air conditioner for me in 2025 in Las Vegas. I usually like to try to wait until April, but some years it just can't be helped. Blarg.

The Deer in front walked into the store earlier that day, and the store owner gave him a treat. Later the same day, the same Deer came back, this time with his friends in tow, looking for more treats. 🙂
