2/3: Please understand that a massive show of protest against this corrupt government of Trump, Musk, and the many others with their hands out for the takings, needs yours and everyone’s voice.

1/3: Here in Portland, the protest against the dismantling of our democracy and the loss of our constitutional freedoms will be starting at 11:30 at Pioneer Courthouse Square. A one-mile march in downtown will start at 12 noon.

It has come to my attention that a lot of people are unaware of the upcoming but nothing from corporations on 02/28/2025. So don’t assume your family, friends, coworkers, etc. are aware and take an opportunity to talk about it with them. A photo to share all the dates.

How The National Park Service Fired 1,000 Workers A terse email that went out to 1,000 National Park Service employees and other Interior Department staff who were fired this week was abrupt and claimed they were being fired for cause.

I’m heading to another 50591 protest on “Not My Presidents’ Day” Monday. Join if you can. Send the message that Elon and Trump are not our Presidents/kings. Not sure yet if I’ll go to the Portland or Salem protest.

Today on a walk with a friend in Southeast Portland, we encountered a woman visibly shaken. A white Toyota Highlander (or a size up from that) had pulled ahead of her and her dog and flipped her off. She crossed the road to get away. He kept circling. She indicated she was gay and felt targeted.
