As someone who also has to resell some games to make everything work financially, I have a feeling the secondary resell market for that area is going to be nuts this season.

Sitting in that area was still the cheapest seats for this year. I feel like that’ll probably change in 26-27.

Can’t wait until the season starts personally. I moved to sec 316 for this season just so I could be seated next to this and have ample opportunities to enjoy it.

Like, there’s a reason we haven’t signed Blake yet. I think any trade the Canes would like to include him and KK, but I bet teams are asking Svech/KK type asks right now for middling at best 2Cs. Everyone’s trying to get better right now as Tulsky said.

I think that’s the assumption from insiders right now to start the season maybe as a test and they’re more likely to trade for a 2C during the season when teams have fallen off hard and are more willing to take top prospects or picks over long-term roster players (and exception being KK) for a top2C

As if this isn’t what insiders were saying would happen yesterday.

Have him at around the 15 to 17 minute mark at most and he should be more than good.

I’m not mad, I agree his play was bad, but I also agree with Rod that he was put into situations this season he didn’t have in previous when you could roll Pesce/Skjei out as a solid 2nd pair against top lines.

Burns in a 3rd pair role works for me, keep him off PP but give him PK time.

As for Walker/Morrow. Morrow needs another year in the AHL, you give Burns the 1 year deal with the idea Morrow matures into an NHLer next year.

For Walker: he’d be the 7th D in this situation and we need the depth. Can’t have two rookies be all of your D depth come playoffs again.

Frank: in other news, I just confirmed that I don’t follow any public information with regards to teams as it’s come to my attention that this was the obvious move to everyone else weeks ago.

Honestly though, I’m fine with this. You still need to get another RHD, but Burns on a 3rd pair is fine.

Assets to acquire and will have a much lower cap hit.

Top of the list should be a proven playoff performer RHD to set next to Slavin. Not just the shiny object from years past.

I just think EK brings more of the same and won’t fit the system well, even if you can give him the Slavin safety blanket

I’m also not advocating for Brent Burns here. I’m just saying that both should be at the bottom of the want list, not the top. Nikishin is expected to step up for PP as he grows and I have more trust in Burns to have a net positive (defensively as well as offensively) than EK and he won’t cost…

In all seriousness, why throw assets out to get Karlsson and his expensive contract when you can get the same general production likely from another year of Brent Burns if it came down to that at a likely $2 million or so cap hit.

In short, the year to get Karlsson was several years ago, not now.
