Eh, after episode 1, episode 2 was merely setup for the mega in episode 4, and after the Brock gym battle we never saw any complete battles since apart from Giovanni gym which was 6v2, the elite 4 and champion battle were basically skipped through and the mewtwo battle was just a promotion for mega.

Have you watched every episode? Or are you only watching cannon episodes? (I'm planning on watching it with a friend sometime in the coming months.)
