We’re all safe here. The storms were scary and the tornado got close, but the house is standing, no damage, and we’re all ok.

Remember:

It can be sad. It can be tragic. It can be disgusting and depressing and discouraging.

But it doesn’t have to mean this is who we are now. It’s what our country is doing right now and that’s not the same as who we are.

Who we are isn’t up to him.

Yes, this is what I was hoping for! I knew this wasn’t like the “other” social media platforms, but I was under the impressions that by using hashtags, I could curate the content in my own feed.

But I thought by using hashtags, I could give feedback on what I want to see on my feeds? That there is still an algorithm but one that I control, instead of having content and ads I don’t care about dominating my feed? I totally may have misread that

Hence the starfish tattooed on my inner arm. Hope is not gone, as long as we continue to look for all the little ways we can make a difference.
