If this were a normal @ispgr.bsky.social and I would be handling the official account as usual, this is the moment I would sign off. Not this year. Keynote tomorrow at 8:30. Party in full swing. Loving it! See you all tomorrow! #ispgr2025

Or, maybe you need to know one (either alignment or position), but you would probably be able to estimate the other than, right? And wouldnt that be optimal over assuming these both? Or is this optimisation problem simply to underdetermined then? My gut feeling says this should be possible?

btw, the toolbox looks super cool, and I've been wanting to play with it, but little time. Hopefully this summer.

Ok, one last, maybe ignorant question. You assume known IMU locations and sensor to segment alignment(time invariant), and then fit model on angular velocity and acceleration. Would it be possible to use orientation data in addition, and by doing so estimate the time invariant parameters?

The 2D one you provide goes straight to their journal club. Will be tough, but fun I think. We discuss similar thing for IK from mocap data (journals.plos.org/plosone/arti...), so they should be able to handle this I feel.
