The game ended here, with the Bonemaster taking control over both tokens with his last turn. My only chance of winning was to kill the Bonemaster itself with my Mage (X), but I played an 8 against a Q and the Bonemaster survived, winning the game on the very last card played!

Playtest of my Steinhjall game (v0.2)

It went well. The game is fast and fun.

We played Hexweaver against Bonemaster. I took the early advantage with high mobility creatures, but mid game, the Bonemaster wiped the board of my creatures, and I had to re-summon all my creatures!

Yes, it is a shared deck. The cards are played both for activation and to resolve combat by playing suits of card matching a defined suit for your models.
I have not had any problem forgetting the deck so far 😄

Steinhjall Summoners' Arena is a miniatures skirmish game that uses regular playing cards instead of dice to resolve actions.

Playtesting today went well. First PvP game tested. I lost 😅 and I have a lot of notes and scribbles in the rulebook to address. But it works!

This is the concept. A bunch of different walls that fit together in a lot of different combinations, all with spaces (the holes and recesses) for decorative panels (to be done) such as doors, windows, solar panels, neon signs and other techy bits. And they can be stacked together!

Adjusted some measurements, no glue, just push fit and it's solid! Amazing 😀

Since I actually won one of the painting competitions that I participated in last year, I got these fancy brushes as a price!

These are Wolf Bristle Brushes. They look really nice and are pretty similar to kolinsy in use. All in all, a cool addition to my collection
