You realize you're MARKUS. It is a badass name. You introduce yourself at a normal volume.

"Well, Markus - could I Mark-us as acquaintances?"

The stranger watches you contemplate the crumpled piece of paper.

You walk through the woods, toward the cabin, until you reach the door. Inside, you hear quiet discussion. Even the wood is warm, and you hear a fire crackling inside.

There's a poster on the wall - it says "BRAVE COMRADES FORCEFEMME TOGETHER."

"I'm, like. Sorry, and stuff," you say, kicking the dirt beneath your feet. Oh my g-d, you're naked. You didn't notice that before.

The Mist smiles back at you, seemingly satisfied by this apology. It may have been half-hearted, but the Mist knows you. It formed you, after all.

Oh, yeah. That's a classic. You flip off the Mist and give it the jerk off motion. Awesome.

The hand morphs into a sad face. You used to be one with this great wall of vapor, of mind-stuff, and now you flip it off so callously.

You enter. Conch takes the tea off the fire (where Memory glows) and pours it into two cups. She invites you to sit. There is an orb above the fireplace.

You tell Memory that you feel you've met. She smiles.

"Many say this. A pleasure, Markus."

It seems she heard your name.

The Mist lets up, and you emerge in sparse woods. The Mist's pallor still hangs over the sky, but are no longer caught in its mind-numbing vortex.

Trees with yellowed leaves and finger-like branches fill your sight. In the distance, you see the outline of a warmly glowing cabin.
