Made me feel terrible in the dream and I spent the rest of it hiding in my room at wherever we were staying and thinking I was a horrible person. Also we were all paranoid because someone broke into the last place we were staying and tried to kidnap one of us (we were in a large group for an event)

I had a dream I was going out to get dinner with a friend and some other person and that third person was being like absurdly rude and cruel (like highschool bully type gossip/insulting/complaining) and so I snapped and told them off but then my friend got mad at me and defended them for being mean.

Well it more so had to do with crucial plot points happening during the equinox (the fall one) but it’s such a small detail that’s not worth naming the entire series over lol

I also need to come up with a better title for my comic lmao. It’s been called “Re: Equinox” this whole time because it’s technically like a far removed sequel to an older story I wrote in highschool just called “Equinox” but that means nothing to anyone else and it’s just not an interesting title

was just randomly recommended the old trailer for it and it made me remember that Dwellers Empty Path was probably what sparked me to want to turn my comic into a game back then. I think I'm making the right call to pursue it in comic form now as theres just too much story for me to make into a game

I’ve come up with so many small little character details and moments over the past couple of weeks that thoroughly flesh out Maya and Zee to the point where I’m actually pretty happy with them now. So I can’t wait to start actually illustrating the comic and writing more of it.

It’s such an awesome feeling to have a core part of a story crystallize in your head and everything else starts clicking into place all throughout it like that satisfying brick laying video where they all snap into place after falling like dominoes.

This was foreshadowing for me getting hit by a migraine today and having to lie down because my whole face felt like it was getting crushed whenever I was sitting/standing up

sometimes i'm struck with the urge to make my sona more abstract and creature-y. at least with the dragon form, but i never know how to really approach making those changes

I may revisit it someday as it was meant to showcase Zee’s backstory. Maybe I’ll pull a homestuck and make it a playable web game at some point in my comic lol.

Absolutely that’s one of the classics for how they start. Either that or “can I ask you a question?” If they were a person with a real valid and urgent concern they’d just ask the question or say what they need to say lol

Yeah it really is but some folks have just never encountered it before or get overly scrambled in those sorts of situations so I don’t mind being a friendly reminder about it!

If you actually have an impersonator people will just message you saying exactly what it is and say that they reported it and ask nothing else of you. I know this because it’s happened to me for real before lol. So be vigilant and cool headed! Don’t fall for scams and lose your account!

Also if these messages come from someone you know, they likely fell for the scam themselves and now have lost their account to the scammers. It’s another way they can make you think it’s credible in the moment but then you realize they’re talking in copypastas and emojis

And need you to click on a shady link to verify your login information to prove you’re the account owner/whatever other bs they come up with. DON’T fall for that! They use fabricated urgency to get you to act irrationally like those toll booth overdue fee scams.

If someone DMs you saying you might have an impersonator out of nowhere and asks you to go to discord to talk about it they’re probably scamming you! They’ll then say they accidentally reported you⬇️

this weekend was nice for recharging and getting back into the groove with art, so this week will hopefully be very productive. I dont have anything looming that I can't handle so I'm significantly less stressed atm (I temporarily cancelled my dentist stuff to deal with it after i move)
