I read today that the "belt" across the chest was/is from the way back machine. Some King could only use one arm. So they rigged a sword and sheath on a belt that crossed his chest.

My daughter is a PA-C.
I did a drill down back in 2018 because of bashing. Turns out the safest neighborhood in the USA was Mexican/Spanish.
