Buying into that worldview hands the shooters and bigots a win by creating the world they want. The only actual way to defeat them is to stand firm in building a world of dignity for all. This is what the Palestinian in the room did for us. It is what the Muslim man who risked his life to save Jews did. This is the way to win.
