All this to say: Democrats, y'all need to take a hard look at the REAL reason why @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social won. It's not because he's good at TikTok. It's not because he was bold in the way he spoke out against Cuomo and Trump. It's because WE WANT PROGRESSIVE POLICIES. PERIOD. LEARN THE LESSON.

And a reminder that the reason no democratic socialist have flipped seats during the trump era is because THE DEM ESTABLISHMENT HAS POURED MILLIONS OF DOLLARS INTO STOPPING DSA CANDIDATES FROM WINNING SO THAT ESTABLISHMENT CANDIDATES RUN INSTEAD.

And what's really ridiculous is the immediate jump to this conclusion that it's Mamdani's campaigning savvy, not his actual policy proposals, that won him the primary.

Progressive policies are the primary policies for the happiest countries on earth year after year. Fact.

It's clear already that the establishment democrats are not understanding the lessons they need to take from Zohran Mamdani's win.

The lesson is not "be more bold". It's that progressive policies are what resonate with the most people. Period. That's it. That's the lesson.

The amount of excitement I've seen over Zohran is only something I can compare to the excitement I saw and felt for @sanders.senate.gov. A kind, strong, moral and empathic, tough and sensible leader who cares that EVERYONE does well, not just the upper or even middle class, is who we need.
