Personally, I'd like to be reimbursed the 30$ broker fee I paid UPS on a 3$ tariff.
Plus compensated for my time to prove to them I'd made the payment their driver said was necessary in order to leave the parcel at all.

Why is the news coverage on this basically non-existent in the United States?

I thought it was just a reminder of perspective. "It's finished" is technically correct, even if terrible is too it's a more positive perspective. That's what I interpreted.
Hilarious comic either way. Unfortunately relatable.
A propaganda poster in a painterly style. At the top there is a Nazi soldier in a faded grey with his hands raised at the point of a bayonet. Above him it says "We beat 'em before.." Below him in darker grey is an ICE agent in the same posture, with a hand pushing back at him, its palm out in a "stop" gesture. The hand is from the Portland Frog, a person in an inflatable frog suit. Below it says "We'll beat 'em again!"
"We Beat 'Em Before... (Portland's Version)"
This idea came to me late. I think it fits really well since Portland Frog Brigade literally carries no weapons and yet ICE has no idea how to respond to them. Just feckless incompetent goons all around.
This whole thing is just so wild to me. I don't even know where to start listing all the ways this makes it obvious they don't care about the children.

Developer attempts to replicate "Liquid Glass" in CSS, and once finished realizes what she'd actually created is an exploit for a fundamental, previously unknown, and rather serious browser vulnerability

In April I started following a GitHub repo. So I get notifications of PR merges etc. I wish I could remember why I started following it.

I'm beyond thrilled to see @kelseyhightower.com picked up the book Max Andi and I worked so hard on. I've met Kelsey in person a few times and he's absolutely inspirational.
I hope you like it Kelsey!
Got the author copy of the book I helped write today. I'm so excited to see it in person.

I played the flute for many years and still have mine. But the piano is the instrument I've always wanted to play.
