Upton Sinclair wrote “The Jungle” in 1906 and catalyzed the progressive era that made work safe and broke up monopolies. Rachel Carson wrote “Silent Spring” in 1962, 10 years later we had the EPA + clean air/water acts. Big business has been fighting both ever since & lately they’re winning.

If there’s one thing I learned in the Epstein files it’s this: the billionaire class is ruthless in its pursuit of self-interest. The rest of us often are not - we allow them to hoard incredible wealth b/c of our idea of fairness. I say it’s time we start ruthlessly pursuing our own self interest.

My government: here’s a few million emails that prove a secret cabal of billionaires actually do run the world. They openly conspired to destabilize entire countries to make a few more bucks. They also rape children. No, we won’t be putting any of them in prison.
