Every clause in this passage is relevant to social media interactions. Challenging but worth aiming for:
"And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness" (II Tim. 2:24-25).
There is so much cruelty in the world. As Christians, let's not add to it. Our methods matter. Even when we are opposing evil, snark and pushiness and humiliating others are not the way. We advance Christ's work with patience, persuasion, wholesomeness, and love.
Lots of depression floating about this time of year. Attentiveness and offering prayer to others can open up real doors for ministry.
The people rejected, despised, overlooked by this world are especially dear to Christ. He loves and notices the failures, the outcasts, the forgotten. That is who He is. "A bruised reed He will not break." Thankful.

A simple practice that greatly enhances daily happiness: don't take blessings in your life for granted, but instead cultivate intentional gratitude for them.
A recent New York Post article noted the dramatic rise in recent years of conversions into Eastern Orthodoxy. Here I explore why this is happening, why it matters, and how Protestants should respond.

what an honor -- I am so grateful -- thank you.
Lots of people are eager for a more robust view of the sacraments today. We have to be careful to frame the disagreement between Catholics and Protestants about Eucharistic theology accurately. youtu.be/t7xn5hyYiKk
very cool! Hope it is useful
We can learn so much from Bonhoeffer. We must be careful to hear his own voice, and not craft him in our image.

The conquest of Canaan is one of the most difficult parts of the Bible for modern readers. But seen in context, this event is not a perpetuation of evil and violence, but part of God's solution to evil and violence.

Each day there are new joys to discover in communion with Christ. He is such a person that to know him is a never ending adventure. Grateful.
Comforting reminders:
1) evil will not have the final word
2) angels exist and are attentively at work
3) God is sovereign and never surprised
4) sins can be forgiven
5) heaven is coming soon
that makes me so happy! Thanks for sharing!
