I got some eeveelution plushies I drew for an ongoing bit! (1/3)

Panel 1: Top-down-ish perspective of Shen pushing his shopping cart into a checkout aisle. He is looking up at a sign attached to the aisle, that reads "EXPRESS LANE - 12 ITEMS OR LESS" Panel 2: Shen picks up two bags of carrots in his shopping cart, saying "Aw jeez. The carrots are in two bags, so I think I technically have 13 items." Panel 3: Shen rubs the back of his head, smiling with a twinge of nervousness but also clearly accepting the situation. He says "ah, well, I'm sure they'll understand..." Panel 4: Shen is blindfolded and on his knees in front of the wall in the parking lot behind the store, with his hands tied behind his back. The cashier, still in apron, is pointing a rifle at him.

"...and Miya, fearsome huntress, silently stalks her prey..." A crouched ragdoll cat watches the little clockwork mouse skitter by. "...which never sees it coming!!" She leaps into the air with a MYAAAA, and pounces on the toy. "Gotcha!! Another successful takedown!" "That makes 5-to-6! Almost 50% successes today! Miya is the best hunter~" Proud of her accomplishment, she purrs and holds up the little toy mouse. Just then, Aaron, orange cat, peeks his head around the corner. "Woah cool! Is that one of those little pounce trainer toys? Dude, I haven't seen one of those since I was a kitten! Could I have a turn?" ... ...a training toy... ...for kittens... ...and she had than a 50% success rate... Miya curls up on her side and hugs her knees. Aaron is a bit confused. I'm not that smart ..." Panel 2: Shen is happily filling the box with yellow powder from a big burlap sack labeled "EFFORT", holding it up on his shoulder and tilting it over the box.
