It’s confirmed that the ICE/DHS occupation in Minneapolis and Wisconsin is being ransomed for voter registration rolls. They already tried fighting for this in Oregon courts. Looks like we know what’s next in Portland.

On MLK Day, a man facing assault charges in Multnomah County livestreamed conduct that appears to violate his release conditions outside Portland’s ICE facility. No police response for hours.

Independent civilians are now doing the documenting instead.

This week we secured a major step forward for renters — My ordinance banning algorithmic rent price fixing passed out of the Homelessness and Housing Committee!

Now it’s moving to the full City Council for a first hearing on the morning of Wednesday, April 2nd.
