I’m thinking about making some vtuber designs. I already have several ideas that are animal based without outright being the animal. I think it would be an interesting challenge for myself. It would also be a good way to improve on my character design skills.

I am officially changing my name on all my socials to RivalVesper. I feel this name fits me more and fits more with what I want to do with both my art and other activities to do online.

I had gone by StarryVesper for nearly 4-5 years. It was time for a change.

Hello all! I know my hiatus wasn’t as long as some might have thought it would be but it was long enough for me to recalibrate myself a bit. Disconnecting from social media (especially TikTok) has done wonders for my mental health.

I am going to be taking a long hiatus from social media. I’m probably going to delete my BlueSky app (not account) for a bit to just disconnect for a while and allow myself time to “recalibrate” myself.

To add onto this, I want to care. But my brain acts as if someone being hurt or upset is more of an inconvenience than anything else. I hate that. I want to care so much, but my mind won’t let me. I feel like something has to be wrong because why don’t I care?

I feel like something is wrong with me. Whenever someone is hurt or upset, I can understand their pain. I can see their pain. But I can’t get myself to care. I’ll try comforting them, but I don’t know how. And it’s not like I don’t want to care, I do…my brain just won’t. Am I a bad person?
