Not oddly surprised — pleasantly confirmed. Oddly Correct Coffee House is so good!

Great coffee, scrumptious breakfast biscuits (try the cheese curds!), and singing baristas. Plus, a solid selection of vegan options. What more could you want?

BoRU is a local asian eatery stapled in the Waldo neighborhood of Kansas City. It’d been awhile since eating here and honestly, not sure why. Great place. Affordably priced.

I’m always up for a good burger, but not eating beef does create a challenge. However, I found the perfect option for meat lovers and non-meat eaters. Burger State in Kansas City is the best that I’ve come across in the city. It’s so good! Nice and juicy! ❤️

The Belfry in the heart of downtown Kansas City is the perfect place for a relaxed and fun Friday night. Great drinks, food and even pool tables for the win! Located at the corner of 16th and Grand. Gotta check it out.

If you’re in the mood for an affordable local Tex-Mex, you definitely should try Tiki Taco. An a la carte menu and my fave item is the chicken chimi. We went to the Troost location, but there are 3 in the metro. A great patio for warmer weather too.

If you are looking for a relaxed breakfast and lunch place, I highly recommend giving Mildred’s a go.

It had been awhile, but I just visited the new-ish South Plaza location. The menu has several sandwich and wrap options, including vegan. Yum is the word!
