As I understand it, the joust involved a tremendous amount of death prior to Edward’s implementation of rules. I’m sure not everyone was on board with the rule changes. Perhaps some fans and a few high profile knights thought he was Frenchifying the joust. 😉
Nothing other than he’s not ready to return. Concussions are all different, and everyone responds differently. Plus, this was one of the most brutal hits to the head I’ve ever seen. I just hope he can return to full health, football aside.
