Fun things with amazing colleagues ❤️

I use bilingual keyboard layouts (DE+EN and DE+ES) as I’m frequently switching at work and with friends between languages in the same apps, sometimes within a conversation. Works well for typing but speech to text? Total mess. Especially when eg at work we use English technical terms in German 🙄

Letzte Woche extra früh Feierabend gemacht, um mit meiner Tochter in die 40min entfernte Kletterhalle zu fahren. 15min vor dem Ziel: Vollsperrung auf der Autobahn, wir ganz knapp hinter der Sperrung. Eine Kleinigkeit vorher nicht gemacht und wir wären klettern statt 4h im Stau gewesen.

Dieses Paket enthält: Startnummer, Garderobenbeutel, Sicherheitsnadeln, ein bisschen Werbung – und einen Organspendeausweis.
Und jetzt weiß ich auch nicht. 😅😜

Finished my longest run+race ever today. 25km with 380m elevation. I listened to The Layover while running and heard @samfromwendover.bsky.social and @adamchase.bsky.social give running advice and, boys, I happened to be doing exactly what you said. That was really fun and a hilarious coincidence.

I’m very much enjoying this summer without months long heatwaves as in some of the last years. (AC is still not really a thing here)

We’re having only 20-25 Celsius (about 70 F) here in the Cologne area, with rain every now and then. Kind of a recommendation, kind of… not 😬

“Die Sendung wurde erfolgreich zugestellt“ = The package was successfully delivered.

(it’s now 6pm on a Saturday. I don’t think they are still working) My generic parcel app says “delivered” since noon. It’s not here. Someone was at home at all times. Will check tomorrow if it’s in my friends yard/terrace. I’m really curious if I’ll ever get my cap. 🧢

during the original delivery window “mid May”. Well, now he’s on his first vacation day travelling. I contacted the @nebula.tv support some weeks ago who confirmed to have changed the address to mine instead of my friends. DHL says the package is in the delivery truck since 8am today //
