The largest market cap Corp in the world (already silly since it's an AI-hype-slop induced bubble, imho) is straight-up paying off the Government for preferential access to hugely profitable markets, previously off limits.

It's officially the government-sanctioned pay to play era.

Abhorrent.

It does have some cheesy parts, and things that were a bit of a stretch. But it was well-done enough to get me to buy-into the world.

Waaaay ahead of its time in many ways, too. Especially viewed 30 years later.

I LOVED this movie when it came out (yes I'm old) and I still love it today. No idea why it gets such a bad rap.

Truth.

I'm a morning person, but I prefer it to be "me" time.

It's the most productive part of the workday, before people inevitably start bothering me with problems that shouldn't be mine to deal with.

My inhibitions are lowered juuust enough by modest consumption of certain substances that my deep introspective thoughts become much more prolific and open.

Friends will confirm that the usually quiet & reserved "me" also becomes much more chatty and loquacious.

I have extremely diverse tastes in music.
I attribute it (among other things) to the variety of artists and genres that were all widely played and broadly appreciated while growing up.
