This coming #NoKingsDay we remember that power belongs to the people, that truth stands tall in the face of evil, and that the spirit of the American people can never be broken. Stand tall, stand proud, and make your voices heard!

No person holding a full-time job, much less multiple jobs, should ever be in a position where they have to choose between keeping themselves fed or keeping themselves housed.

This unfortunate reality we find ourselves in will perpetuate until we stand together and declare an end to it. STRIKE!

Deportation to a country other than that of origin is something entirely new to America. For a reason. That the Supreme Court today affirmed this practice speaks only to how far our country has fallen from the heights it once set itself upon. While we are not perfect, we can be better than this.

Remember when people were saying: “the courts are the last line of defense!”

There was never a long-term line of defense. With the Supreme Court compromised, and we know that it is, major decisions like this will continue to happen.

many cultural staples originate in times of struggle. Frito pie has its roots in the Great Depression and has always been an easy-to-make and affordable meal. There’s nothing wrong with that, the problem arises when people begin getting priced out of things they have always counted on being cheap.

Opt out. Unsubscribe. Boycott. Grow your own food. Live in a tiny house or have several roommates. Buy locally. Use cash. Buy pre-owned. Borrow. Lend. Repair. Be ok with having less. Shut this shit show down. These are radical acts of resistance.

If you think about a General Strike and the first thing that comes to mind is, "That feels impossible", we get it. You're not alone. But there are tangible ways each one of us can start preparing, and it goes beyond a strike card. We are all organizers and leaders in this movement.
