Rewrite of ch 4 open (got to like 17 and decided I needed to go back and rework 4) ; a stream for a game I'm interested in up but I don't speak the stream language ; a half built polypod ball in my hand.
And very limited lights on.

Usually Wednesday nights are my creative nights, but I've not been feeling great for a few days due to the storm - big ol migraines and all - so I'm kind of just indulging my chaos.

Also on this, I collapse/flatten my layers constantly, but i tend to work in groups of layers and then move on to new sections.

I also do most of my sketching on paper and my lines/colors in Procreate and then just...move things around.

My process is super convoluted but it's what's working for me.

Overall I like it? but I stopped using Adobe when they went Creative Cloud, so that's where most of my comparison is. I used my perpetual license (bought in...2011?) until some updates killed it.

Publisher - In Design

Designer - Illustrator

Then I pop it on a thumb drive onto my iPad - start drawing in my thumbnails on each page on the iPad so I can draw on it (my larger PC tablet/monitor is boxed right now while we're packing to move).

Comics wise, I'm working through my first chapter thumbnails right now, so I get all my pages up in Publisher, pop my text from Ellipsus over (on PC so I don't kill my hands), loosely arrange it by page.

I prefer the PC versions of it for ease on my eyes, but the iPad port is pretty good!
They've recently gone free for the base of it (Affinity Publisher/Photo/Designer) - and on the iPad you can swap between the tools in a project without having to reload.

I go back and forth between Procreate and the Affinity programs on my iPad.
Canva deciding to put the AI stuff as "optional, pay for it" put me more at ease for using Affinity's stuff (which I've used for years as my adobe alt).

I have been eyeballing this...might actually pick it up.

This is why I do all my sketches on paper and then scan them in. I loose my sense of scale when I'm working on the tablet (which I love, but it's so small). I was taught "draw from your back muscles" by my hs art teacher ages ago and I hate fingertip drawing.

Mine have tags that say "indoor cat" but good luck to anyone getting near them.

Their carrier tags (tags on the outside of their carriers) are more accurate with "Anxious & Loved" and "Angry & Loved: Don't Touch Me!".

Milton Bradley Columbo Detective Game Board Game. It's an orange box featuring his notebook, his car, a burnt match, a badge and most notably, the back of Peter Falk's head.

I found a copy of the old MB Columbo Detective Game for @vysetron.pixeldie.com a few years ago (who is also a huge Columbo fan so I'm always linking him your doodles). The fun part being that they got the rights to Columbo, but not Falk's likeness. So Columbo is always...facing away.

I had a very aged dog and have a *ton* of washable waterproof blankets by the end to protect things if that might help. They are not pee pads as much as just ways of protecting the sofa and all.

My stagmomantis limbata female "Denver" , who is a very green mantis, and her ooth. Her ooth is very fresh and still quite a bright shade of yellow-brown, she has laid it on her mesh. She's got a bit of eye rub from looking for a spot and she's still looking at my camera with a little bit of annoyance for bothering her.

I’m a NYE fan, but I left my halloween lights up this year. I only had the energy to do lights once. So my porch is purple and orange.
