I chose to take Programming instead of AP English and never regretted it. I was going to art school, I wasn't going to be writing thesis papers. The stuff i learned in Programming was largely useless but it was a fun class. Unlike AP English which was largely useless and NOT a fun class.

That is to say Mochi won't speak to mom and keeps turning her back. She's SO offended. Not at Egg's presence but that the kitten keeps hissing. idk what she'll do when she meets Bacon, but he's really GOOD with cats. I taught him to lay down and be still, which makes him less intimidating.

Egg update: She ran into mom's little pug-mix, Mochi(they weren't supposed to meet yet but Mochi is Mochi). She had never seen a dog before and climbed mom like a tree, hissing. She's still growling at poor Moch everytime she sees her. Mochi is handling this like a good pug by being dramatic.

My mother is like a Disney princess. I've seen her tame insane ferals and she has a swarm of hummingbirds that follow her around outside in the summer. I used all my powers of persuasion learned from a childhood of learning the "Umbrella technique" for papers and brought the argument to dad first.

My mom(73) just lost her two big dogs Holly(16) and Cinder(13) this summer. We've had them both since they were pups and her heart is broken. Previous to them getting sick my mom kept wanting to get a kitten but the girls' medications were so expensive they didn't want to take another cat on.
