I visited an asylum centre (AZC) in south Holland today and honestly, it was the loveliest experience. Friendly staff; nice facilities; cheerful young residents from Eritrea, Somalia, Syria making guests injera, baklava and coffee. Just as far as you can imagine from stereotypes of violent thuggery.

Heb het gedeeld. Ik heb het ontzettende geluk gehad dat ik wel vrij snel een aangepaste woning kon krijgen. En dat is zo belangrijk. In deze woning kan ik mijzelf redden, zelstandig leven en volledig de regie over mijn eigen leven houden. Dit moet voor iedereen in een rolstoel moeten kunnen!!
