I haven't been around much in the lead-up to Halloween, but here's something I would put on my Halloween playlist if I had one.

Nick chuckled a bit sheepishly. "It's actually marinara sauce from a bottle," he admitted. "I did not feel like making everything from scratch today. I did add a few things, like chili flakes and some parsley."

He twirled some pasta onto her plate and handed her the meal.

//Ah okay. Mine are all set to "Warn" or "Hide" because sometimes you just get flash-banged with something on the TL that you really don't want to see.

Nick inspected the bottle. "Oh, Nibelheim '66? You must have had some connections to find this. Good thing I made pasta with red sauce for tonight. It should be almost done. Make yourself comfortable and we can eat. You can tell me all about the labor jobs and how things are looking in Midgar."

Her voice was like the ringing of a bell to Nick's ears. He immediately hurried to the living room to greet her, giving her a warm embrace.

"Good to see you," he said, giving her a kiss. "How have you been?"

//Streaming on the TV shouldn't be as annoying as it is. 😩

Oh dear. Looks like Nick has been putting on weight from too much Ramen at Yuffie's stall.

Might have to start walking to work...and everywhere else.

True, I'm not a club person. I could have a drink at the bar, or go to a restaurant. Something on the quieter side.
