Especially now, putting myself back in that place, I cannot stress enough how crazy it was to watch this dot of light descend so quickly right to us. We were stopped in our tracks and had only enough time to ask if it was coming this way before it was there. Like it noticed us noticing it.

Happy to share it. I think. Reeling a bit from the recall. It's one thing to tell the story out loud, and I did, to a few people soon after it happened. But it is something else to put it into text all these years later. I need a drink lol.
