It looks like they finally added the Talamasca panel from SDCC to the actual AMC+ app, not just Prime or Apple TV. But still no sign of the TVL panel 🤷‍♀️

As soon as you’re trying to involve someone’s real life into online arguments with strangers —about a TV show —I think you’ve completely lost the plot.

All I’m going to say, after everything that happened at SDCC, is please be safe here & try to limit personal details shared.

This was interesting but mostly sad.

I think there’s a small number of people in this fandom who’ve taken it way too far but are very loud. The recurring theme I’ve seen is these are people who’re obsessed w/ being “right”, no matter how they talk to people or what harm they do.

There’s some odd editing in this… parts removed that aren’t the trailers or clips…and from what I remember, I don’t think it’s like loud crowd moments edited out. Maybe it’s more tangents or spoilers edited out instead?

Watching the Talamasca panel on AMC+ on Prime (TVL panel is still not up 🤷‍♀️🙃) — and I like this title graphic design. I didn’t notice it on the trailer they released earlier this week, I think it was darker so the background wasn’t as clear.

Also— why is Sam Reid the thumbnail image for Talamasca? 😆🤷‍♀️

I’ve been travelling this week, so I’ve missed everything that’s been going on!!

But what happened with the SDCC panel for TVL?! Why did they only release Daryl Dixon and Talamasca?? 🤷‍♀️

Think there were only 4 interviews with IWTV/TVL cast or team in August — compared with the 24 interviews last month!😆

I have to believe there will be a dropoff in MW S2 viewership and an increase in IWTV S2 viewership with the Netflix audience… But I guess, TBD…

IWTV S1 had a total of 16.9 million hours viewed from Aug 2024 — June 2025.

Seems great objectively! But unfortunately, it was one of the least viewed AMC shows in this 2024 deal 🙁

MW saw 35.8 million hours viewed in the same time frame…

This was great to see today! Love this internship program with the Indigenous Film Academy on IWTV TVL S3. I hope they do more internships & collaborations!

I’ve been incredibly busy these past couple weeks & haven’t had much time for IWTV/TVL digging… and from what I’ve seen in haphazard glances on twt, I haven’t missed much 😆 (Beyond Eric’s crazy IG post — again, somehow he’s consistently the most online of IWTV cast/crew 🤣)

So looks like those S3 set photos were actual paparazzi 👀 From an outlet called “The Image Direct”… which it looks like the Daily Mail has now bought… Well, that’s a good sign the show has is now big enough to be on paps’ radar! But I’m not linking to the Daily Mail 😆

—It’s crazy & contradictory, depending on who’s narrating or how AR felt about Christianity or Atlantis that year. But I never thought to explore that aspect as a plot/structure device. It makes so much sense. And based on TVL teaser, I think it will be incredible, yet again 💙

—Why not really embrace the revisionist elements that make TVC so wild & engrossing? IWTV & TVL have drastically different tones. And I love (and now trust) that RJ is fully going on that journey & not trying to “iron it out” into more a cohesive narrative. TVC are not cohesive—

—And even though, I still think starting with Lestat’s story *logically* makes more sense when looking at TVC as a collective whole, that’s not what TVC was 🤷‍♀️

Everything *did* spring from the ideas in IWTV, so why not really embrace that? —
