This mosaic depicts, on different perspectival planes, a few gladiator scenes (munera) and a panther hunt, (venatio). It is one of the Borghese mosaics, four large and two smaller ones, dug from the cryptoporticus of a large suburban villa at Torrenova in 1834. #MosaicMonday

Actually we didn't invade Finland or Poland. Finland invaded itself with genuine false flag causing USSR to only fight after being "asked" by new "legitimate government for help. Poland magically ceased to exist. Neither were to do with secret clause with Nazis that we preferred instead.

OTD in 1932 USSR signed non aggression pact with Poland. 7 years later we violated it cos we preferred the one with Nazis that had a secret clause.

But please trust us over treaties now. We've honored them all since then, just ask Ukraine, Georgia & Moldova
