for sure, i also got into a hobby of cars as well, now im collecting car models lol, my mom's not happy that her tomatoes wont have any room on the windowsill now :D

I learnt so much about cars during last year and this year too, i even learnt how to do some small work on my car too, like battery replacement, tire pump usage, and some other things like replacing windshield wipers. Nothing major as I only got into this very recently.

Excited to see what's to come over the next year, even though I may be maxed out in the game, I still enjoy playing it a bunch despite that :D

since there's lots and lots of ideas and such to add to the game, it'll likely take much longer to get around to doing them, compared to the game's slow death. which seems to be closer and closer with each passing month.

Don't mind me asking, but curiosity got the better of me.

Is there a specific goal you have in mind for FE2 (like features and content), or are you planning to let coolzak and shortroundzach eventually get full ownership of the game after you've moved on to other projects?

I have completed Flood Escape 2, in fact, 100%'ed it. After 8 long years of playing the game.

Started back in November 2017 and reaching this crazy milestone in 2025 is an incredible feat that I never thought I had the balls to do, but here we are, it's been done...

Oh and last thing, including 17+ rated games in the event :D
as well as brainrot rubbish that was not only confusing to play but also brain numbing to stare at. I almost got epilepsy from still images and colors.

Lets not forget the 4 hour long wait for developer, video star and admin items.
Sometimes the game to game teleporter either breaks or just straight up doesn't allow teleporting. (Also constantly rejoining the hub to go to biome, then to game is a big waste of time).
The prizes are good tho.

Hatch Event:
Lobby is nice, biomes are cool.
Hopping from game to game was plenty buggy.
Some games had too large of a map to see the egg in the lobby.
Some games had gameplay quests that were broken and you couldn't get the egg.
The event relies on RNG.

the only form of social media i use everyday is discord, to talk to fellow fe2 gamers, and some other folks i've known for years now.

I'd replace it with something that can do what discord allows, but with more freedom and less limitations.
If not for fe2, i'd have never used discord at all.

maybe, although i would expect a quest like that to not use something as obvious as lost pages for it lol

fe2 should definitely do some sort of event quest, looking for clues in maps, unraveling codes, hell even a boss fight is possible with fe2's map making mechanics

that'd be amazing to see, especially after playing through the mega hunt quests for the recent roblox event.

no highlights for 2 months (except for the collab highlight)
a bunch of stuff that was neglected of fixing (like the hitbox)
and just in general, anticipation of something cool to come (like the leaderboard system) do tell me if it was scrapped so i can stop asking.

I tend to focus on a task that I want done on that specific day and I work towards that. Even if I don't make it in time, that doesn't matter much in my eyes, as you can get up the next morning and calmly finish up and begin work on the next one.

I just do some work for a few hours, then take an hour or so long break to either go outside or play some games just for fun, then when I get back to work I don't feel as drained and can do more progress than I would've just by binging.
Try not to fit in so many things into one day, split them apart

modifying a low end device just for better game performance is a waste of effort and money.
might aswell save up for a few months and buy a new device.
