There are two kinds of scales, one with handles, one without. The one with handles are a little more correct, when measuring. I am nor sure if the are available in the US, I personally have the Omron BF511, this one doesn't connect to an app or cloud.

I did work for a company that sold scales, I learned that you the best results with a scale that also has a handpiece. They measure a little different than the ones without. So if your scale breaks down it might be worth looking into one with handles.

There is also some kind of black smooth berry that grows on the bark of the tree. It looks so alien. When I first saw it I thought it was a joke.
