⭐️ Last night, my husband shared a beautiful idea: at midnight on New Year’s, we’ll open our front door.

He explained that by doing so, we symbolically let the old year out—releasing what no longer serves us—and welcome the new year in, inviting fresh beginnings, hope, and possibility.

Oh just a regular morning where my 7 yo little guy turned on a math program all by himself to learn about infinity and the symbol pi 😂

To say he has a math brain is an understatement.

This child also was telling all his cousins at Hanukkah about quadratic equations.

This little setback reminded me that progress isn’t always graceful or pain-free, but it’s part of the process. Slowing down doesn’t mean stopping—it’s a opportunity to realign, laugh at ourselves, and keep going with intention.

Hobbling around this morning was a bit of an unexpected set back but trying to take the pause as a gift to slow down.

Last night woke up in the middle of a deep sleep with the most excruciating deep calf muscle spasm. New dance shoes perhaps?
