That sucks. Not at all funny for the kid in the cuffs, and they're not a toy.

Totally disagree. Jacinda's govt showed what's possible for leaders who can hold their nerve. The moment Labour starts showing some ambition for Aotearoa, they will win.

A long crowded line of people marching onto the grass in Victoria square. Itβs a colourful crowd of people of all ages, extending out of frame in the background.

Another view of the crowd of people. They are all faxed away from the camera, toward the stage. The rainbow arch is in the background. Towards the left, someone has a tote bag with the progress pride flag stitched on.

Absolute no-brainer. We rely on volunteers!
Labour considers including volunteers in ACC mental injury cover www.rnz.co.nz/news/politic...
We are deeply concerned by the situation in Iran. Our first thoughts are with the people caught up in this conflict - in Iran, in the countries in the wider region, and the New Zealand families worried about loved ones. We recognise the courage of Iranians who have taken to the streets demanding change, at enormous personal risk and we condemn the serious human rights violations that have been perpetrated against them. Military escalation does not produce the stability the region needs. The attacks on Iran and the retaliatory strikes undermine international peace and security and put civilian lives at risk. New Zealand must urge all parties - including close allies - to show restraint, pursue diplomatic solutions and first and foremost, protect the rights and safety of Iranian civilians. New Zealand must use its voice on the world stage to call for de-escalation, for a return to negotiations, and for the right of the Iranian people to determine their own future.
Thatβs a proper Labour/Labor party statement from Chris Hipkins, leader of New Zealand Labour.
Speaks to values, values of peace, international law, and the values of the people of Aotearoa.
Aotearoa New Zealand is a country with a big heart, this is how Iβm used to that place responding.
I'm not going to quote post because I don't want to dog pile.
But when people say, "don't heckle the staff," this isn't 2010.
We're not talking about normal people choosing normal govt staffing jobs.
This is 2026 where we're kidnapping foreign officials and building concentration camps.
Tapa leat.
As February leaves us without as much as a 'by-your-leave' it gives me another chance to punt November.

Hello, Iβm a community organiser who doesnβt read the news much.
I organise actions with volunteers. I train them to have important conversations. I identify trends within these connections.
But I donβt read the news that much.
If you canβt take the onslaught, take action instead. Volunteer!!!
Black and white photo of Marjane Satrapi with the quote: "The world is not divided between East and West. You are American. I am Iranian, we don't know each other, but we talk and we understand each other perfectly. The difference between you and your government is much bigger than the difference between you and me. And the difference between me and my government is much bigger than the difference between me and you. And our governments are very much the same."
Once again.

On top of all the reporting that this war of aggression was planned well in advance, it seems that the reporting also indicates that the US political leadership are quite literally too stupid to understand basic diplomacy. I mean literally not smart enough.
