Right now daily current events are deeply horrific but the thing you need to pay attention to is that this will begin the cycle of renewal for what being a mainstream liberal looks like because the old guard is being rejected. We can’t think of better solutions if we are also consumed by fear+pain.

Keep eyes peeled for opportunity and move when confident, not out of fear. Do what’s useful to your community and relevant to your skills… Keep everyone above water as much as possible.
