I hope you heard what your family and friends may have been trying to tell you about how pissed off we are at being insulted and taken for granted by the US govt. That and our fear of what happens when we get there is why we boycott trips to the US. Something to use your platform to report back?
I'm really pleased for you and the #uncanny gang Danny! Is it selfish to say I did prefer cult audience, radio/podcast from your shed, imagining for myself from your excellent evocative descriptions?! Creepier, and you almost had me on team believer a few times!
Former political prisoner Nasrin Parvaz reads a letter to Keir Starmer signed by more than 100 pro-democracy, pro-justice and anti-war British-Iranians, including other former Evin detainees Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe and Aras Amiri. Full list of signatories is at togetherforiran.org

How come he's constantly trying to stop Ukraine fighting a war against its invader, citing the need for peace?
We had similar high hopes for Mhairi Black, I just hope she's protected in Westminster
But would a badger be OK? @eddavey.libdems.org.uk thinks not a badger either.
A hare?
Trump kicks off Women's month event by being disrespectful to women, bragging about himself and his ability to disrespect women with impunity. All in one sentence. Sounds about right.
Not one for commenting on sentences usually, but husband and I watching the news both felt the 13yr sentence didn't really reflect that she'd imprisoned her for 25 years, abused and assaulted her, and stole £100,000 from her.
Foster family sounds lovely and great to hear them advocate for her on TV

I think he's painfully aware. I see it as panic that they're about to lose power and support in those elections. They were relying on devolved govs to spend the way they needed them to, to meet their national promises.
Yes it doesn't take much. She's a complete toff has-been, she had her moment in the 80s being an it-girl prancing around Monaco and Klosters wearing silly outfits, pearls and legwarmers.
The finest take down of the institution of monarchy and "class" and the grasping, greedy, venal, entitled, and very stupid people it enables that you will read today or any day.

And so we write to brilliant postgraduate students from Sudan, withdrawing the offers and scholarships they won in open competition with the best in the world. A sad day for the University of Oxford.
And after Ukraine has been lost to Putin
You were missing the point of my joke. Tice's girlfriend, the appalling Oakeshott, and other 'influencers' living in Dubai are posting non-stop denial of war impacts as if it's not affecting ordinary working citizens in Dubai, so when Tice eggs on Israel and the US...

I'd far rather they spent money on cleaning up streets, improving and making this country look and feel smart and somewhere to be proud of. The irony of the awful sad upside down flags on lampposts was that they just made messy dirty, littered rds look even worse. It was embarrassing, not patriotic
Another reason to hate bloody vape shops.

It really wasn't rocket science.
He's quite simply wrong. It's not a national humiliation at all. For once we're not hanging on the USA's coat tails and we're looking like we actually believe in something.
These businessmen are so out of their depth
Yeah, that used to be the way of things, I'm a languages and politics BA graduate but ended up in Environmental mgt with an MSc. I know history and chemistry grads who are now accountants, Philosophy grad in IT etc.
