One of the excuses were "We agreed that I will pay back only if we stay friends" - after all he did I would've never said that. He kept saying that he has no money thinking I don't know about all the cons he goes to.

During breakup I let him have my old laptop and electric guitar because again, he swore to return the money.
Over the years communication with him has been nothing but hell, empty promises, and attempts to justify not paying.

I roughly rounded it all up to 2000 euros, in reality it was way more. When money were tight he has also borrowed 700 euros from my friend, this has also never been returned and I will be paying back this money instead, so the total is 2700.

Back when we were together I have been paying for everything for him for over a year - food, many flight tickets, con registrations and all the legal fees for our partnership. From the very start we both agreed that he will be paying back this money when, I trusted him. (2/7)
