Right- how ‘bout that?
DC editors and staff stumbled into some approximation of professional competency. Finally.

Right- how ‘bout that?
DC editors and staff stumbled into some approximation of professional competency. Finally.
This news is suspicious.
Incompetent DC editors have failed fans continually- Absolute Power, Shazam #20, Secret Six…just terrible portrayals of Jon Kent.
Expecting more of same would be wise- young Jon might be a clone, a demon, an android…something idiotic, instead of the permanently young Jon.
If this is cross dimensional, how about Annie or Peni?

15.01.2026 01:27 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0But, if editors are competent, they would not go with fake, aged up Jon Kent.
15.01.2026 01:25 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Some excellent ideas- especially young Jon.
07.01.2026 23:09 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The only “banger” DC publishing puts forward consistently is the hollow clatter of incompetent editors evacuating professional responsibility to their craft.
Deluded voters for this insular award have demonstrated again their hug-box-limited span of vision. This is a poor choice.
Aged up Jon Kent- agreed.

It is time to age revert the character, and end the aged up failure- that mistake has actively held back the character for years.
Accurate.
The Jon Kent age up failure is the nadir of DC comics of the past decade.
Accurate.

Apologies, but there is no question why it failed-any page or panel featuring aged up Jon Kent is an indictment, emphasizing the incompetence of DC editors and leadership.
Not because the characterization is gay, but because it is holistically terrible.
There is, perhaps, negative numbers on this metric… for an accurate assessment of fake, aged up Jon Kent?
28.12.2025 19:31 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Agreed.
Dan Slott will follow a Superior Spider-Man trajectory, and Tomorrow Man will definitively kill or imprison the beloved young Jon Kent.
DC has failed so fully, their incompetence is so unmasked, their inability to accept their own mistakes so ingrained- they will fuck this up, as well.
Holidays are special.

The superfluous twins epitomize wasted space: zero to offer any plot/storyline. They are substitute characters appealing to a poseur DC sub-group.
Imagination/conception is not a prime skill for young Jon Kent critics (or, the editors/writers who fail with the character).
Thanks for the reply-agreed, aged up mannequin Jon has been below mediocre. Secret Six, as with all recent portrayals, was poorly done.
Ultimately the only way to save the IP is to age revert, building a different Jon Kent through graceful aging/experiences that allow divergence from Clark’s shadow.
Accurate concern- placing fake, aged up Jon Kent on any team is a recipe for further failure.
21.12.2025 01:16 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0That’s an excellent idea. And, overdue.
Thanks!
It’s never too late-thanks for these comments.
An age reversion would jettison the failures of the aged up characterization and save the IP.
I think there are great stories to be explored about Jon evolving his powers and his sexuality as he grows up, as opposed to the artificial, failed age up.
Accurate
19.12.2025 13:06 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0This is an accurate statement- fake, aged up Jon Kent has been a failure, and continuity poison at DC, since editors decided to give Bendis authority to damage the DC universe.

You’re so intelligent!
DC editorial staff and Jim Lee had a theme, it would be “If I Only Had A Brain” in regards to the original age up of Jon Kent, and the large continuing editorial failures with the IP.
To paraphrase Glinda, “They are capable of more than they know…” yet they DC practices/promotes incompetency.
No fake, aged up Jon Kent, thank you. No one wants to see such editorial failure on a team.
13.12.2025 01:01 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Within 3-5 years after consolidation of WB/Netflix businesses, you’ll see DC print comics as you know it wind down, for limited-run digital titles specifically published as promotional bolt-ons to features/Netflix.
DC compact comics will continue, reprinting old arcs aligning with studio strategies.
