The drooling incident — which Levi refers to as the incident — is a blessing to Erwin. Levi felt so bad about it he kept apologising and suggesting ways he could make it up to him. Erwin would be a fool to not grab the opportunity. Levi offered to pay for a month of beer at the bar at first, but Erwin refused. It was so manipulative of him, but he wanted more. While it is nice to get closer to Levi, mostly by texts messages, they only meet up in two different settings so far: either with the rest of the band at Nana’s and Hange’s, or only the both of them but in public. Getting Levi to talk about himself has been easy as long as it stayed in surface. Levi likes music. (obvious.) Levi wants to have a cat someday. (surprised he didn’t have one already). Levi likes children. (unexpected.) As the days go by and winter break approaches dangerously, Erwin is preoccupied with one question. How can he take this relationship to the next level? How can he be sure Levi might like him back? One of the hardest step was to guess if Levi likes men. (and he does, thank god!) Erwin didn’t ask directly and Levi never told him, but Erwin notices everything, puts it in his little brain of his to analyze until he gets an answer to his question.
