I simply had to go back to town to craft more potions, and I'm 95% sure that the exact same situation would have been survivable (Dangerous mob spawning on top of me with low health) because I actually managed to run away technically, but that fire ball keeps following you to the end of the world...

Last Night at around 2am my WoW Classic Hardcore adventure ended.

The lesson learned as always is that greed is bad, because it was only because of pure greed that I perished.

sure, a unlucky thing happen, but I didn't go back to town when I ran out of healing items because I needed "just" 3 mobs

Just making up an example, but you can apply it to most games I'm sure, but Hard isn't fun in this situation because we fail, but according to them medium is for noobs and we/they are definitionally not noobs. The mindset needs to change, it's okay to not being mlg pro at games.

I think a big mistake we have made as gamers is moving towards the idea that you need to play on harder and harder difficulties in our games. It's frustrating playing with someone and failing and the mere suggestion of we/they maybe aren't ready for it difficulty is seen as hostility.

What happen to games? Seeing all these videos of a marijuana gun in Call of duty, why does every game have to be turned into a wacky ass skin store front, sometimes I just want games to just appear normal, and you know with CoD a military shooter with normal uniforms and normal guns instead of this.

Today I will start on the WoW 20th anniversary servers with a hardcore character, it's gonna be painful and terrible, I love it.

I'm not even sure what can be done to fix shit like this, because people will always get boosted, because its not Taboo enough to be boosted, or people simply doesn't care, but having a system that degrades would be awful aswell for people who cant play 24/7

Elo systems ingames just feels like a waste of time, specially when a lot of people get boosted in the systems, It's really frustrating using a lot of time to find people for content, only for people to admit after our failed sessions that they are boosted, then what is the point of the whole system

After much farming and grinding, I finally got a trinket I really needed for my shaman in WoW, sure its not the best quality that exist in the game, but it feels good to finally have, and from my limited time with it I have felt so powerful. It's great, Huge nerdgasm

It's only Mythic difficulty raids where some of the gear won't be enough to engage with, but mythic raids are only played by a minority of the community, and having this system which is beneficial to the majority is just great. It's the first expansion in a long time where I want to play alts.

It just adds so much to the game that you feel progression is something you can get from all kinds of content, so when your friend ask if you wanna do something you can just join and still progress your character, unlike the past, and the gear rewards are good enough for mist content.

The War Within is one of the better WoW expansions I have played in a long time, from actually having a cool villan to just having many good systems for character progression thats build for different people, and even when you get gear you can further upgrade it which slowly over time buffs you.

I think the funniest thing about Palworld is the fact how much they make fun of Pokemon and is very clearly unhinged, Together with the fact that Pokemon fanatics are malding over the fact that the pokemon concept isn't the exclusive rights of Nintendo

Hunt:Showdown has become my new temporary addiction, the adrenaline rush you get from killing a 3 man squad solo is just out of this world, Feels like you almost get high on it, amazing. Not many games and give me that kind of 170-180 BPM heart pumping action, and I think its great.

Sometimes I need to be better at accepting to just play games on "Easy" difficulties, I got Songs of Conquest to relive some Heroes of Might and Magic III nostalgia, very good game honestly, but the last mission in the first campaign gently fucks me sideways, ofc it needs to be difficulty, but oof.

If a video game has a "mini game" with a high-score system in it, my friend grp has a obsession with competing against each other in it for having the highest score, sometimes we have up to 15-20 min between missions in Deep Rock just to play Jetty Boots

Battlefield and CoD, just got lost in their chaise of getting the fortnite crowd into their games, which made them lose their identity along the way, and well, BattleBit is now here to maybe pick up the reigns of Battlefield. Maybe some other game will pick up the reigns for Call of Duty too

BattleBit is really one of the many games that just gave a big middle finger to triple A games, it basically took over the "battlefield" scene for some time, but still seemed to have a nice healthy player base which is great. The game is really just what Battlefield should be, but just isn't.

I'm gonna throw myself at Dark Decent soon aswell to 100% the game on steam. Which I'm looking forward to, specially trying the hardest difficulty. I like to try to challenge myself with games like this.

My very first playthrough of the game took 4 hours. Compared to all other Amnesia games which I all clocked in at around 10-12 hours each for first time playthroughs, some of my timings on The Bunker are under 1 hour for the speedrun achievement.

It's also sad how bad Amnesia:Machine for pigs is. Most that make Amnesia good was taken away, basically only leaving you with a very short, strange puzzle, barely horror game. A playthrough I did for achievements took me under 2 hours, so very short compared to some of the other Amnesia games.

After hearing what disaster the Remade CoD Modern Warfare Story has turned out, I think I will replay the original Modern Warfare campaigns, they might be a bit over the top like CoD usually is, but atleast the story has some weight and emotions in it, instead of whatever the fuck the new MW3 is.

Satisfactory just really tickles some deep dark desire for me. I progress slow because I don't look up pre calculated setups and when I try to use my head for math my brain gets fried, so I guess the game is good. Even my brain gets stimulated, which isn't happening that often when it comes to math.

Amnesia:Dark Decent is a legendary game, but toying with the VR mod made me look around more, I'm a history nerd and I noticed that I found a map of Prussia (Game takes place in Prussia 1839) and the map found on a board in the starting area has the borders used up until 1805. *Internal Screaming*

Tried a VR mod for Amnesia:Dark Decent last night, worked surprisingly well, but I didn't get 100% immersed because of technical difficulties, but I will fix that tonight. So even then I still got some hardcore chills, despite knowing the game and played through it before. So I guess it's very good.
