Some of our Phoenix Theatre cast met on Monday for our newly-launched monthly catchup and singing session. It was lovely to see their smiling faces outside of our normal show season! We were also able to celebrate the great amount we raised for Friends of Anchor through our show Louder Than Words!

We are so incredibly proud of our cast and crew for making ‘Louder Than Words’ such an incredible success. Not only putting on a brilliant show, full of excellent performances, but for raising such a huge amount for Friends of Anchor in Liz’s memory.

Great to see so many of our pupils trying out our dance class this week, as Katie put them through their paces with ‘I Hope I Get It’ from A Chorus Line. We think they got it!

Phoenix Youth’s dance class runs on Saturdays at 1:15pm.

With Annie on the horizon and rehearsals starting soon, this week at Phoenix Youth we were exploring some of the characters our cast may be playing in the show.

We look forward to presenting Annie at the Aberdeen Arts Centre this June!

We had a wonderful week performing ‘Louder Than Words’ at the Aberdeen Arts Centre, raising funds for Friends of Anchor. Thank you to everyone for your support!

Today marks our last rehearsal before the cast of ‘Louder Than Words’ gets into the theatre tomorrow!

We can’t wait to show you what the Phoenix Family has been working on - with tickets still available for Wednesday’s opening night, make sure you don’t miss this wonderful production!

Phoenix Theatre host charity show in memory of beloved co-founder and mum Liz Milne After Liz Milne died in July earlier this year, Phoenix Theatre and her family decided to keep going with plans to produce a charity show for Friends of Anchor.

“This is as much Liz’s show as it is anyone else in the company so we’re taking a lot of comfort in that.”

Louder Than Words runs at the Aberdeen Arts Centre 20-23 November, with all the proceeds going to the incredible Friends of ANCHOR.
