True. It was a lose/lose for the Dems. It sucks :-( I do wish there was some other way that the minority party could do something but anything they try will just be shut down. I also wish that at least a handful of Republicans grew spines and did something.

Speaking for myself, part of the problem is that I can't do anything about it, though I have contacted my senators and congressman. It does not appear that anyone in authority is doing anything about it at the moment. All of the court actions are at least promising, so there's that.
