Personally I would not trust a leader who I cannot trust to have unpleasant conversations and deal with the ugliness of the human experience across all axes. People exist beyond a narrow convenient work persona, and to strip them of that is tantamount to removing what makes them human.

There is no universe in which this is defensible.
