yeah lol I was ranting about it for a while (in my house like a crazy person) but then I realized...since I am constantly reading both sports manga and BL AND reading fanfics ....this whole show isn't a new concept or even the best written of what i've read.

like if its in Shonen Jump its not really aimed at adults either. But Akira and Ghost in the Shell aren't REALLY aimed at teens. Tokyo Godfathers isn't really intended for teens even tho as a teen you can easily watch it.

I'm a supporter of all animation even ones that I don't like because my peers need fucking jobs and I want more job security.
But there's animation all around the world (not just jp anime tho thats a easy one to look at) that caters to all ages and we just aren't getting it here
