It’s #FoundFilmFriday! His Girl Friday isn’t a "lost" film, but its original look was fading fast. The new 4K restoration (released this week by The Criterion Collection scanned the original 35mm nitrate negatives and—crucially—digitally recreated missing frames that didn't exist in any other print.
